In Dentistry:

Dr. Nilo A. Hernandez Jr. completed his dental degree at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska in 1991. Prior to that, he also completed dental training in a foreign country that placed much emphasis on surgery and trauma procedures. With so much training in the surgical arts, it is the reason why he has excelled at this chosen path with the greatest of passions and vigor.

Since 1991, Dr. Hernandez has placed and restored well over 20,000 dental implants and has been achieving and maintaining an extremely high success rate. From a clinical holistic perspective, he has always maintained more of a biologic direction in choosing the safest of materials.  For many years, he has been teaching dentists on how to use the latest technologies with high results. He has published numerous articles, books and been featured in many television and radio shows.

While being fluent in English and Spanish, he has lectured worldwide and given many thousands of hours of lectures on everything from surgical to prosthetic rehabilitations. Instrumental in developing numerous techniques and products to enhance the results. He has impacted the lives of many dentists and patients from across the globe.

In teachings:

The teaching arm has developed due to the abilities and comprehensive use of methods, techniques and materials followed by proper and concise documentations and photography to assist many companies in using Dr. Hernandez’ skills for research and development of their products.

As Course Director for the IDEC Seminar series, his quest is to prepare clinicians to reach levels of aptitude and proficiency never reached before. In addition to this, the medical advances in stem cells and genetic testing has become a part of the everyday dental practice life for Dr. Hernandez.

Personal:

He has a wife and 2 wonderful professional & grown children who also enjoy water activities and sunshine. Boating, riding his motorcycle and photography are his hobbies. Dr Nilo is actively engaged in numerous companies as either clinical director, researcher, and part owner. His extension into the business world is large and expansive in his quest to improve dentistry and access to health care for all.
